CholoBodlai

A final-year truck-booking and bidding platform connecting shippers with verified truck owners.

Overview

CholoBodlai is a final-year university project that connects people and businesses who need to move goods (Shippers) with registered truck owners (Owners).

Instead of committing to the first quoted price, shippers can post delivery requests, compare eligible truck-owner bids and choose an offer. An administrator reviews owner accounts and vehicle documents.

Main functions

  • Shipper accounts, trip requests and booking history
  • Truck-owner registration, vehicle verification and bidding
  • Admin approval and moderation of platform activity
  • Booking assignment, delivery-progress states and in-app notifications
  • Responsive Thymeleaf interface and a REST API

Technology

Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Thymeleaf, Spring Security, MongoDB, Cloudinary, JavaScript, Maven and Docker.

Scope: This was built as a student project. Its route-tracking visualization is a simulation rather than real GPS, and bids are not an online payment system.
